Ink Cartridges ??

As previously Posted I'm having issues with my Printer being selective.. I'm trying out my Son's printer which is an Epson WF3720 model .. Curious my Printer only has 2 Ink Cartridges (1 Black, 1 Color) The Epson has 4 Ink Cartridges (1 Black, 3 color tones) If the Color is empty do you replace all 3 color cartridges together ??
