MFC-L2700DW, printing is light but making copies is OK

Printing was starting to look too light. I shook the toner cart & cleaned the corona but to no avail. Going by the number of pages printed the toner was not low but probably 75% used up. I had a new cart so I installed it but it didn’t make any difference. I adjusted the Density to +6 but didn’t seem to make any difference. Neither did setting it to -6. I put the Density back to +6.

Printing from the PC is a bit too light, however making copies are slightly too dark.

Any suggestions on how to make the printing darker? Is there some hidden service menu setting for this?
