MX-3610N and a Mac

I have a mac running Catalina (MacOS 10.15). I have connected it to the MX-3610N, but when I ask it to print, the printer starts like it wants to print, but does not print anything. I have tried installing the driver from sharp's website, but to no avail. Any suggestions? My experience with Mac's is very rough.
