New printer

Always had Epson. Main requirements are that I do a lot of photography and editing and printing.

The main requirement is that my printer has to be able to print labels directly on to cd/dvd's rather than sticky disc labels. This is why I always had Epson. Last 2 have been R265 and R360.

Looking to replace as I have had problems with this "Ink pad waste" getting full and literally locking the machine. A repair disc was totally useless and the option of taking it to a repair centre was a non starter

Is Epson the only manufacturer to make printers that do direct printer. Don't seem to be many options out there.

Any help you can offer this old silver surfer would be most appreciated.

Epson are a good brand plus the ink cartridges can be cheap to buy. I would try looking at Canon they are also another good brand which do some really good photo printers with high quality print.
