I was low on cyan toner. Replaced the cartridge with an unused new one, and am now getting a "No toner" message.....NOT "Low Toner".
I am thinking this means the new cartridge ( a cheapie) is faulty. I could possibly prove that, but don't have another one at hand to test against it.
Online help discussing "NO toner" goes down a path of resetting the print count per color cartridge.
I've found useful "how-to" videos on resetting the print count for a toner cartridge. But what I see on the demonstrator's printer control panel is not the same as what I see on mine. In particular, in the video a simultaneous press of the Back and Cancel keys brings up the toner counter menu.
The demo is British, I'm in Australia. Is it likely the software in the same model printer is different in the UK from Australia?
