ok. i try to explain what i seek...
imagine you put a post-it note on an A4 sheet & put it in a printer. then, in some software (photoshop or whatever) you actually SEE an image of the post-it on the A4 sheet (a view from INSIDE the tray, so to speak). so that then, you can use photoshop or whatever software you're using to design something on the exact piece of paper that'll be coming out of the printer
i've never seen this. is it a function any printer has??? or is easily emulated in some way i'm overlooking???

[ i think i've seen this functionality on a 3D laser printer/engraver. just not on any conventional printer ]
