Poor quality print from cx310dn

hello all,
I’m hoping someone can help us. Our cx310dn print quality is poor, it prints extra dots. It does this in both colour and black and white modes. It also happens when copying documents.
The dots run in straight lines down the vertical of a page. The dots are all colours.
The end result is the content you have printed or copied with 5 vertical lines down the page: 2 x magnets, 1 x yellow, 2 x cyan.
Any ideas to eliminate this?
We have tried resets, cleaning and switched ink cartridges but it’s still happening.
