Printer Hack - Change Maximum Paper Length

Does anyone know of a way of changing the maximum allowed value for paper length when creating a Custom Size page? I am using a Canon Pixma PRO-1 and want to do a long panorama ghreater than the maximum allowed value of approx 600mm. I tried looking at the registy settings for the prnter driers, but couldn't find it there.
