I have a Hp 5100 with a blinking ink light problem. The problem started when my black ink ran out and my color ink ran long before then. I replaced the ink cartridge with new ones and the printer worked fine. I got a usb to parallel plug and used it to plug in the printer and it worked fine. I used the printer to print some great pictures of printed on picture paper. Then the ink light started blinking and I could not print anything.
I cleaned the contacts and then restarted and updated the drivers.
I still am getting the same issue any ideas?
