Printer Queue - View & Reset

Print Queue - View & Reset
Win 7 - 9


OK, lets see what is in the Print Queue
Click Start -> Devices & Printers -> Right Click Your Printer Icon -> Click "See Whats Printing"


Reset or Clear Print Spooler Queue as follows:


1. Open Services & Stop the Print Spooler service.
Click Start -> Type Services In Search -> Select Services -> Scroll Down To Print Spooler
Right Click Print Spooler -> Select Stop


2. Navigate As Follows:
My Computer -> C Drive -> Windows -> System32 -> Spool -> Select Printers Folder.


3. Click "Continue"


4. Delete All Files In the PRINTERS Folder but not the Printers Folder itself!


5. Open Services & re-start the Print Spooler

Any thing is possible. However not aware of any print library, where print documents maybe stored.
May still be on your hard drive, but no idea how to access such.

- On the host, open the Run window by pressing the Windows logo key + R.
- In the Run window, type services.msc The Services window is displayed.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler.
- Right click Print Spooler and select Stop.
- Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files in the folder.
- In the Services window, restart the Print Spooler service by clicking Start in the left pane when Print Spooler is highlighted.
