Printer wont print in windows 10

i have a panansonic kx-mc6020 printer/scanner which scans fine but since recent update wont print it sends document to printer but printer does not print

i have installed latest printer driver which scans but does not print

as a test i installed printer to a laptop with windows vista this scanned and printed fine so obviously the printer works fine.

i have installed latest update v1909 to windows 10 but still refuses to print

i tried uninstalling updates but computer ask to restart then it reinstalls update

the one update i think caused the problem stops uninstalling with error tried safe mode and clean boot but update stops with error

before windows update scanner and printer worked fine in windows 10

up date latest printer is in error state googled this and reports back

check paper plenty of paper

check ink but toner ok

check paper jam but its clear

check usb cable tried front usb port

still not printing

although prints in win7

and can scan and print from printer controls but not windows 10

did you ever get a reply or learn how to solve? Looks like The driver install has trouble completing and assumes LPT1 is the port to connect to, when you actually use the USB port on the PC / printer.

reinstalled windows 10 then it worked fine
