I just bought a printer machine Epson L850 and it prints very well but when I insert PVC tray to print plastic ID cards the machine prints a photo round as if it is printing on a CD

It sounds like the printer is defaulting to CD print mode because it doesn’t recognize the PVC tray correctly. To fix this, make sure you've selected the right media type (like "Plastic" or "PVC") in the printer settings. Also, check that the tray is inserted properly and aligned according to the printer’s instructions. Ensure your printer driver is up to date and configured for printing on plastic cards. This should help the printer recognize the PVC cards and print them correctly.

It seems like there might be a driver or setting issue causing the circular print on your PVC cards. Make sure you've installed the correct driver, set the media type to PVC card and adjusted the print quality to the highest setting. Calibrating your printer and using high quality PVC cards can also help. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider contacting Epson support for further assistance.
