Ricoh Pro C5100s - Remove paper from Finisher Shift Tray

Giving this forum a shot. We cancelled our service contract with Ricoh because it got way too expensive to support this printer.

I have a perpetual message to "Remove paper from the Finisher Shift Tray". There is no paper in the tray. I use Fiery Command Workstation. Is there a way to override the message or what's the general way to resolve this message, outside of opening and closing everything as I've done 50 times now. Thanks.

on the finisher tray there should be a feeler arm that detects amount of paper on tray
they get broken
you need to disconnect sensor physically or cheat sensor permanently
