scan to email setup

I have a Sharp MX-7040 N that I need to setup scan to email.
I have entered the data for return address, IP address for mail server, SMTP authentication.
The copier will not test correctly.
I have placed these setting under services-->SMTP.
Is there another area, that I need make or place other settings for scan to email?
