Should I buy a printer?

Hi all

I want to buy a printer - only and only purpose being to take photo prints. I normally go for a shop outside to take prints of the pics. It cost me one dollar/65INR for 7 color A4 sized prints on card paper. (not the best quality though).

Is it better this way or should I buy a printer? At the moment I have more than 100 photos to print. Please suggest.
