Stylus SX215: half-out cartridge holder & 'No Cartridges' message

I took my black cartridge out to make sure I bought the right one. I flipped the holder lid down. When I got home, the holder was half-out and the display just said 'No ink cartridges' - without telling me how to move the holder to put it in! Do I have to sort this out manually, as in Youtube videos - which looks awkward - or can I press a couple of buttons to free it? Thanks!
