I use a hp 85a cartridge which costs now five pounds 20 pence if you buy five, which I refill myself with toner at 24 pounds a kilogram.
The problem is the drum. When taking out the used toner (which I reuse) I seem to sometimes spoil it. It seems to be very delicate.
If I make a hole in the back of the cartridge where the used toner is behind the drum and cover it with tape would I succeed in not spoiling the drum and still be able to use and refill it.
