What is causing this fault please - Brother MFC8460N

Hi
I've had a Brother MFC8460N for a few years and am now getting an issue where one side of the page is hardly printing (see attached file).
I have changed the drum and the toner but it makes no difference.
Any advice to resolve this or is the printer dead?
