XP-245 wifi problem

I got given an XP-245 but the wifi doesn't seem to be working. It's new, out of the box, and the green and orange lights come on when I turn the printer on, but not when I press and hold the wifi button. My laptop can't find it, and nothing happens on the printer when I press the WPS on the router. Anyone know what might be wrong and how to fix it?
