how can i get my epson perfection 2450 photo scanner working with windows 11

Hi, I have an Epson perfection 2450 photo scanner, which was working fine until I got a new computer, and it won't install the software and drivers, I am using windows 11, I would like to continue using the scanner. any advice? Thanks

I had the same problem and found the solution. See my post of Feb. 16, 2024.
