This is a long shot, but maybe someone can help me out with this.
I just setup another a printer (Sanwa DP-1190 Jet) at my office. Attached it to an XP box and installed the latest drivers from the manufacturer with no problems. When I print to it, however, I see it hit the print queue, it is there for maybe 2 seconds then the deletes itself. No output from the printer of course. It doesn't matter what app I am printing from, same results. All other printers attached to this machine print successfully 100% of the time, so it appears to be something specific to this device.
I confirmed I am using the latest driver and the correct one for the OS. Support from the manufacturer is nearly non-existent and I'm not turning up a whole lot on Google.
