Advice on non-genuine inks for Epson Ecotank ET 3600

I was going to buy 4 x Epson ink bottles for this printer but they were AU$ 75.00 non-genuine inks were AU$ 34.00. Do the genuine inks have anything in their makeup that my four year old printer needs? or am I just as well buying non-genuine. I live in Perth Western Australia, are there any particular non-genuine brands people would recommend? Thank you
