Connecting DELL AIO 962 with LACIE NETWORKSPACE2 NAS Drive

I have a DELL AIO 962 USB Inkjet Photo printer. I also have a Lacie Networkspace2 NAS drive which has an inbuilt print server. My laptop is connected to a Netgear 3700 router to which the NAS drive is connected. I tried to connect the printer via the USB port of the lacie NAS. At my system when i try to install a printer by Dell driver it shows "Connecting" but this goes on for ages and wont complete. When i stop this manually it shows this printer in the Printers and devices but shows error with port, no port available for this printer.

Any way to directly print from my computer through the network?
