DesignJet 5000ps Belt Change KURCLUNCH after cutting

I just changed the belt on my HP5000 printer. It does print now but........ Now right after it cuts it makes this scrapethenmetalCLunk noise. its a raspy sound then a clunk on metal.
I just cant imagine right now what it could be. Pls if you have any ideas for me on how I might diagnose this problem. pls help
