We have an old Epson 9800 still giving us excellent service. Works fine on all Windows and OSX 10.5.
But can't get it to work fully with OSX 10.8.
Its connected to a Windows PC on USB with Colorburst RIP software which is made to act as a Print Server for the MACs. With this setup the OSX 10.5 can print full size banner on the 9800, but OSX 10.8 just cant go more than Letter size (8.5"x11") prints. I could get the 9800 to print so much from the 10.8 because of Colorburst.
Without Colorburst, the 9800 Drivers for the Mac OS were made in Sep 2007. OSX 10.8 doesn't have the drivers for the 9800. Neither has Epson come out with new drivers on 10.8.
Does somebody have any insight on this scenario?
