Hi,
I'm new here. I've been printing with this printer for about 2 years without much trouble but for some reason it has stopped printing wirelessly. I can still print through USB but when I try through WIFI the printer software tells me that the printer is turned off! This just happened out of the blue.
I've tried updating drivers, unplugging and plugging back in, restarting my router. Just can't get it to work.
I'd be happy using the USB connection except all of the paper options change between wireless and wired connections.
Has anybody else experienced this? Or is there a way I can get the same paper options using a wired connection?

Thanks in advance for any help or direction.

Exactly the same using an Epson XP-6100. keep on tripping over the wired connection now. What has changed?

Same here with ET-2710, after a few years and at the time I first refilled inks. I can only USB print, scanning does not find printer nor any utilities/firmware updaters (they don't see it exists as a USB device) - though some USB tools see something. Maybe there is some corruption of data.

On mine the buttons on front panel that should photocopy, print network info all do nothing at all. Neither do they do anything special if held while power is turned on.

Weirdest is that I have 3 on/off states:
off,
on with steady power light (I can USB print),
[power+wifi direct+ink] led lights flash together (I can still USB print)

I have resolved my Epson 6100 problem by going back to basics. Over time my home network, which is a spiders web of connections with 2 routers and wired connections between the incoming virgin superhub, located downstairs by the TV and my desktop computer upstairs with its own router has become unstable. Going back to basics I systematically removed elements, replacing the two routers with a Deco nested network and then added the elements back together leaving the printer wired to the desktop. I remembered from the first installation, "to get it wireless, simply remove the wired connection" I did and it works.
So my suggestion, my solution was not to overthink it and try and be clever but start again.
