Epson Workforce WF-3640 not printing yellow

I recently changed out my yellow cartridge since it didn't seem to be printing much color and was probably due soon anyway, but found that the new cartridge isn't even discharging any yellow at all, and think that may have been the case with the previous one. I did a Nozzle check and cleaning, but no yellow at all even prints out in the check.

Any suggestions on how to get it printing with yellow again?

I've found with other Epson printers that is you take out the printer cartridge and fit a tight plastic tube over the small nozzle in the print head, then connect the tube to a squeezy plastic bottle with plain simple water inside, then squeeze the bottle until the water runs through the printer head nozzle and out into the discharger, replace the cartridge and run a head clean and nozzle check. Hopefully it will be this, otherwise it is a chip re-set.
