Paper getting fed halfway then pulled back and a jam message appear. You know that one ? I wasn't imagining how deep that problem was until a saw dozens of testimony of people accross the whole XP line (all those sharing the same internals, xp-800, xp-900 and other)
The problem only occurs when you change paper type and/or quality. For me its anything but plain paper and normal quality.

I don't understand why that issues isn't more documented but maybe it is quite rare.

I tried downgrading the hardware, using matching drivers, unplugging the PE sensor (that wasn't that smart.) slamming the duplexer (that's in a youtube video. Guess what ?)
Cleaning everything, still getting the error.

Any other idea beside changing the logicboard is welcome :)

These printers were pretty much made to be disposable. Physically run or pull thick cardboard through the printer feed to make sure debris is not stuck there. Literally lift the printer and flip it upside down so the panels open up and shake it vigorously up and down, side to side, etc. And also blast compressed air everywhere after. Wipe any sensors down with Isoproyl Alcohol.

I'll do this. I already shaked it and it didn't made strange noises, the feeding pipeline is quite conveinient to check as the duplexer unit is disposable. I find its main gear is quite hard to turn by hand. I re-greased that roller's axis but it didn't get any better.
Already cleaned all the light sensor (but the one i think is causing issue because you literally have to tears the whole printer apart to access it but i tried !)
I'll try blasting compressed air too. But honestly, i never believed that being a real mechanical/opto-electrical issue. Things are in its head *_*
Thanks anyway for your answer
