Fuser failed, again.

The fuser for our printer HL-6180DW printer failed again. When we try to print simple black and white text, it comes out blurry. We called and talked to a representative who A) verified it was the fuser, and B) informed us that Brother would not provide a replacement, even though this was due to a failure of the fuser (which is a longstanding issue). Does anyone know if Brother actually is replacing this faulty part? It would be great to stay with the Brother line of printers, but we cannot do so if parts are consistently failing.

I just chatted with Brother Tech support about our HL-5470DW and they wouldn't replace the unit, it was out of warranty though and the unit we had was a warranty replacement. Both fusers lasted only 18k pages before they started getting blurry.

I have a MFC-L5900DW with 37k pages that hasn't had any problems. The question is if the newer 6200DW has a good fuser or not.
