I hope I can help someone. I contacted Brother customer support about this issue because it was wasting so much paper printing scan logs. This is the fix I copied out of chat to fix that issue.

ME: it is just a printed scan log showing scanning activity.

ME: it just repeats that same line over and over depending on how many scans I have done. It is just a log that prints once or twice a day automatically without me asking for it.

1. Open Settings.
2. Click Bluetooth & Devices.
3. Click Printers & scanners.

Scroll down until you get to the "Related settings" category. Click Print server properties.
Erik: Click the Advanced tab.

Erik: Remove the check from Show informational notifications for local printers.
