i can´t scan with my ir c3170i

I have a CANON iR C3170i and windows 7 64bits on my PC, and i couldn´t scan whit it, either conecting the printer via USB or Network. I installed the Scangear Software to add the printer as a scanner on Windows but it doesn´t finds the printer anyway.

What colud be happening? Could anyone help me with this?
