Ink cartridge full, but printer won't recognize it

Hi everyone. I'm looking for suggestions for a problem I'm having. I have a Dell 1250c. The cyan cartridge was changed a couple of days ago, but the printer keeps asking that I replace it! This has been going on for quite the while. Any suggestions?

If you have changed with some aftermarket product chip might be bad quality and not recognized by printer

I agree with the other reply sender... Sounds like a chip problem on the cartridge...
You can of course, try breathing heavily on the chip, then giving it a quick polish with a piece of soft cloth... Then snap the cartridge into place rather sharply... That's worked for me on odd occasions...
