Ip6000d problem

I have been using the canon ip6000d for a number of hers and it was working well. When my ink ran out ,I replaced 6 new non oem ink cartridges. After a couple of cleaning cycles, the printer cartridges stay in parked potion and when I turn the printer on and off, the power light comes on and turns off. It does not appear to be a power problem. I suspect that the non oem might have triggered some software. Can any one help me with how to get it to come back on so that I can replace the cartridges? Thanks
