i replaced a transfer roller due to an employee using "rubber rejuvenation" spray on it which resulted in smeared prints.
However, even after I replaced the transfer roller my prints are still smeared (see picture). I assume it is because the oily spray has gotten onto the smooth roller that the transfer roller presses against. I attached a picture of this smooth, hard roller that has what appears to be contamination on it.
How can i go about cleaning this roller when it will not rotate? Is there an easy way to allow this roller to rotate so it can be cleaned? Should it even be cleaned?
