I just bought a 4-1 color laser printer Brother MFC-L3770CDW.
It is officially supported by Mac OS X 10.11 and later.
Unfortunately, I have on my network a Mac which cannot be upgraded beyond 10.5.8.
I was NOT able to use the automatic install utility, but by manually installing the PPD file "Brother MFC-L3770CDW series CUPS.gz", I was able to get B&W printing on 10.5.8.
Color printing also works, but with an unfortunate twist : the non-black colors (C/M/Y) are very UNsaturated.
Brother support was totally unhelpful.
Does anybody with a Mac and a Brother laser color printer have some idea what I could do to print "normal colors" ?
