Legacy FS-720 use with CUPS

I have this old printer and support ended with WinXP. I tried .inf injection and various ways of installing drivers on newer windows system but could not get this to work. I dont have any lnux knowledge but ive been told maybe i could add it to CUPS and share it via the network. I have made some queries on google but dont understand much.

Can i make use of this printer via CUPS and print stuff on it via the network from windows devices?
