Mac High Sierra and Epson WF 2530

Just updated my MacBook pro to High Sierra and my Epson WF2630 printer is only printing excruciatingly slowly. The settings is on normal ie not Best Print or Photo paper etc, the wifi connection is excellent, only 3 metres from my router and has 10 to 12 Mbs. Has anyone got the same problem, I have deleted the printer via CleanMyMac 3 but it still shows in Word/Excell and other programme and I am able to print ........weird I know, any help would be greatly appreciated.
