MFC-J480DW - Unable to install ControlCenter

H

Hermann

Hello,

the printer and the ControlCenter was installed and working on the Notebook with Windows 10 for almost a year.
The Printer is connected through WiFi.
Suddenly I wasn't able to scan anymore.
I decided to uninstall the Drivers and ControlCenter usind the Brother Uninstall Tool.

Since then I'm not able to install it anymore. The installation hang at around 50%.
In Taskmanager there are two processes InstUI (32 Bit) and BrWiEvRg (32 Bit).
I was using the Complete Driver and Software Packet downloaded from the Brother Website.

I cleared the Installation serveral times, all Brother folders and related in Program Files, Program Files (x86), ProgramData, AppData\Roaming as well as alle Temp Folders and the registry. Additionally I uninstalled the Brother printer drivers incl. Packet.

Nothing helped. Brother Support ask me to contact Microsoft Support ;-)

Does anyone know about that issue and how to solve it?

Regards,
Hermann
