MFC-J805DW can't print from primary to IoT network

I have my printer on my 'IoT' network and would simply like to print from my 'Primary' network. I have a firewall rule setup that works fine for my Synology NAS. I can access files from NAS on 'IoT' to my 'Primary' network. So the only difference between the two rules is the IP address of the NAS/printer. Does Brother have some intervening software running? All ports are open in the rule.
