I purchased a couple of refilled ink jets for my canon pixma mp250 a couple months ago. Although I've been ignoring the screen messages re ink running out (as they are refills), recently, the C(olour) indicator has been flashing and everything is coming out red & stripy (which doesn't make sense to me). I've followed directions for cleaning print nozzle etc according to manual but it's just got worse, so I presume I need new ink cartridges.
Does that sound right for approx 150 ebay invoices and 4 pages of full heavy colour pictures (as I thought it would last longer).
Last time I ran out of ink (which was the ink supplied with the printer when I bought it) I don't remember everything going red and stripey.
