My NEW Magenta Ink won't print!

I just bought new Magenta and Light Magenta. I've inserted them and 2 or 3 times cleaned the heads. But for some mystifying reason, even if I fool with color specifics and image photo enhancement etc. the pink/reds colors WILL NOT PRINT! Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do?! I have an Epson Artisan I think it's a 900.

Is this a symptom of a printer wearing out? Thank you so much! Hoping for suggestions.
