No removable tag on new cartridges

My latest delivery of cartridges for my Canon MG5650 has arrived. These are cheap replacements, not Canon. The advice on the box is to remove the yellow tag on the label prior to use (as usual).
However, the cartridges themselves advise "Do Not Remove This Label". What do I do and how would the cartridge breath?

Probably means "do not remove prior to use".

Hi. Thanks for getting back. My situation is that the printhead has been manually cleaned and these new cartridges have been installed, but despite running all the cleaning cycles still no ink flowing.
I'm now suspicious of the new cartridges coming along without the removable yellow tags. Do you agree that a cartridge has to have a breather hole for ink to flow?

Can you check ink levels through LCD panel? Cartridge should have breather hole, if the tags weren't on when received then heads/pins might be damaged.
