Paper jam error with docs but prints test page ok

I have an HL2270 printer that got jammed when it took 2 pages at once. I pulled the paper out & made sure everything was clear but now I can't print any documents because my pc says there is a paper jam but nothing is blinking on the printer. I can however print a test page by powering on while holding the "GO" button etc. I am clueless as to what to do now. I have been fiddling for 2 hours & am getting nowhere. I can't find any paper stuck in the printer. I'm wondering, because the printer does not respond at all to a printer call, it might be a driver problem. Maybe I should I reinstall the driver? Help
