Problem printing with Epsom XP-710 Printer

I have two problems the first is it keeps throwing up that there is a paper jam, there isnt one, sometimes if i continue to remove and replace the cartridges it will work for a while. But now it I am getting a message of "A Printers ink pad is at the end of its service life" and so I cant access the printers home page!

Hi Rufus No I use compatable cartridges and other than getting a reminder from Epsom they work fine

You can try unplugging printer from wall outlet. Leave it disconnected three minutes.
Then restore power plug and turn on printer. Strongly recommend OEM Epson ink & cartridges.
May be too late with ink pad error message.
