Reset Estimated Ink Level HP 7310, cart# 96

I have googled but only came up with wrong info or no info:
InkSunLimited.com gives only info on # 57, 58, 28, 27. The pinouts for the cartridges are different than #96 which is what I have.

Yahoo!.com gives no or bogus info
Ditto with FixYa
MrInkJet gives info for lots of number but not #96
Vamex.com gives how to refil but nothing on resetting
eHow... says their is for #96 - but it's the info for different cart number! (Plus the procedure is really screwed up!)

so: Anyone know how to reset the Estimated Ink Level on my HP 7310 cart# 96?
