spooling error

Bought a Canon TS3355 to replace my old MG5700 which had worked perfectly for years. This one spools really slowly, and then won't clear the spool at the end of each print - I have to stop the service manually, delete a couple of files from the printers spooler folder, and restart spooling. Every time. I'm on Win 10, and have reinstalled the printer from scratch several times. I've also excluded the folder from antivirus, as suggested on a forum. Any ideas?
