I have successfully installed the Twain driver from the Sharp USA site.
The printer and scanner are identified by the PC
But the driver cannot associate with the scanner. The PC does not accept this driver.
I have tested that on several PC platforms (Vista, XP, 7).
I would like to test with an old version of the driver.
