Brother HL-1223WE connected to network - powering off/sleep mode

Hi all,

I bought Brother HL1223WE laser printer yesterday.

I have connected it to my home network without any issues. All works great.

I do not print so often, so I bought laser printer.

I read information that printer will not power down if connected to network.

On printer configuration page I see that printer status is "Sleep".

Is it recommended to power down printer or just leave it in Sleep mode? I am talking about power down using button on printer.
