I am trying to fix above printer ( had fair bit of use ) that only feeds paper about 2" to front of toner cartridge then stops with error.
All paper feed rollers have been cleaned with alcohol. I have drilled a small hole thru lhs of paper tray so I can watch paper feed gear / clutch. The clutch appears to be slipping. I have dismantled the clutch and cleaned the clutch surfaces with alcohol but still slipping. Any thoughts on repair or can I buy replacement clutch ?
I am retired computer / printer engineer and doing this for interest only - not billable hours.
Just dont like throwing things away.
