Epson Scan Cannot Recognize Scanner (WF-840)

I am running Windows 10 Home, very recently updated (V. 21H1, 19043-1415).

I have been previously able to wirelessly scan to PC with this WF-840 printer.
I am still able to wirelessly print to the WF-840 from the PC without problems.
However, I cannot scan to the PC.
Have downloaded the "Drivers and Utilities Combo Package" (epson15189.exe).
I've recycled printer and PC many times and when trying "Epson Scan", get the error message that it cannot recognize a scanner.
I know the WF-840 is old but it has served scanning to PC well up to recently.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Solved with simple help from Epson Main telephone support.
"From Start in Windows 10, Scroll down to EPSON, Select Epson Scan". It will open. Select Preview before Scan or else Scan is grayed out.
Seems simple enough Works now. Did not before. Guess I used wrong sequence?

That couldn't be the reason of the window you mentioned, I saw a friend was also using window 10 with Epson 1430 Inkjet printer! You might be initialing the wrong drivers, recheck it and let me know if this solves your issue.
